Sadly, we leave tomorrow after 6 enjoyable days in the Loire Valley, enhanced by our excellent room @ Le Belvedere.
Dominique was the perfect host, providing somptuous breakfasts and her knowledge of the region negated our need to visit the tourist information center.
We took Dominique's advice on where to eat and what attractions to visit and we were not once disappointed. She even shared her laundry and twice offered us sparkling wine, all gratis.
In summary a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We loved the valley and the accomodation was spacious, private and excellent value.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, dans une superbe demeure classée , très appréciée par mon époux.
Nous remercions infiniment, Mme et Mr GUILLEMOT,pour leur accueil, leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse.
Ils nous ont été de très bons conseils pour la découverte de la région, des vins et de la gastronomie.
La tour des châteaux en avion piloté par Mr guillemot a complété et finalisé cette excellente escapade .

Nous avons passé quatre jours agréables dans un cadre féerique et avons été très bien reçus par madame Dominique et <monsieur Guillemot que nous remercions et félicitons pour leur gentillesse.
Nos amis Nelly et Maurice ainsi que mon épouse Liliane et moi-même Jean Paul se souviendront encore longtemps de ce séjour de rêve dans votre demeure magnifique. We so enjoyed our stay with you, it lives on in our minds. I have French cheese with my breakfast now but we can't duplicate the croissants.We miss France and the little cottage in your yard. It was a magical time, Jim says it was the best vacation we ever had. He now wants to travel all over. Your hospitality and travel help were wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Belvedere in Blere, France. We were warmly welcomed into the beautiful home of Jean Renaud and Dominique. The accommodation was very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious with fresh jams and cheeses and Dominique suggested an itinerary for each day which made excellent use of the time we had to visit the Loire valley. Suggestions were made for dining in the village and surrounding area and we tasted some lovely French wine and food.Thank you both for a very memorable stay.

We enjoyed our visit to Le Belvedere so much a couple of years ago that we returned for five days. Dominique is a wonderful hostess and she makes her guests feel very special. The accommodation is very comfortable and Le Belvedere is a beautiful home right in the middle of Blere. Dominique suggested some good restaurants within walking distance which enabled us to really enjoy the French wine! The breakfasts - fresh croissants, homemade jams and yoghurt, fruit and coffee are superb. While her guests are eating, Dominique takes an interest in their day ahead and her suggestions and advice made our trip an interesting and enriching experience. Our flight over the Loire and the chateaux with Jean-Renaud was a wonderful experience and one which we will always remember. Thankyou Dominique and Jean-Renaud for making our trip to the Loire a holiday to remember.

Le Belvedere offers ideal accomodation for couples and small groups of holiday makers. My two travelling companions and I found this little B&B charming and beautiful. Our rooms were relaxing, peaceful and (thanks to Dominic) always clean. We found breakfast in the dining room with Dominic and fellow guests a very useful way of gathering tips on where to go and what to see in this delightful region.
You do need a car to get around the Loire but Blere's central location made it easy to find the many wonderful attractions. Wineries, Chateaux, medieval villages, market gardens, golf courses are all within a short drive of this sleepy little village.
Blere was also the perfect spot for immersing yourself in the French way of life after a busy day's sightseeing. We finished each day in the village square where the locals would gather over a glass of wine to share stories and stare at passers by. Occasionally we chose not to sit and soak up the atmosphere, but instead busied ourselves shopping (Blere has some surprisingly snazzy boutiques) or being pampered in one of the nearby salons. Blere also offers a surprising range of restaurants. While the food was consistently good and the service friendly, the best thing about them was that they were never more than a 5 minute walk from Le Belvedere.
We learned so much from you, Dominique; it made our trip a wonderful rich experience. Thank you both for your warm welcome. We felt at home, we will return.
We have seen several very beautiful castles in the Loire region, but the finest was the "Belvedere" with its charming Dominique.
